Idriss, la joven de Bujará narra una historia de amor inspirada en las ciudades orientales de Samarcanda y Bujará. Las costumbres y los lugares que aparecen en el libro son auténticos. El libro se presenta ilustrado con fotografías que ilustran la arquitectura y los parajes donde se sitúa la acción.
